Venezuelan Document Translation
Venezuelan Document Translation for Australia
Venezuelan nationals applying for Australian visas, citizenship, or official submissions must provide certified English translations of their Spanish-language documents. Trans Lingo provides NAATI-certified translations of Venezuelan documents accepted by the Department of Home Affairs and all Australian authorities. Venezuelan civil documents are issued by the Registro Civil, which operates under the Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE).

How to prepare your Venezuelan documents for translation
Venezuelan civil documents vary in age and condition. Many Venezuelans hold older physical documents issued by local Registro Civil offices before digitalisation. Both older handwritten documents and modern printed versions are accepted for NAATI-certified translation — upload a clear, complete scan that shows all text, stamps, signatures, and any marginal annotations. The Antecedentes Penales must be obtained from the CICPC, which operates offices across Venezuela and through Venezuelan consulates abroad for those already outside Venezuela. Given the difficulties some Venezuelan nationals face in obtaining current government documents, the Department of Home Affairs may accept statutory declarations or alternative evidence in some circumstances — confirm with homeaffairs.gov.au or a registered migration agent if you are unable to obtain a particular document. Documents do not need to be apostilled before translation for Australian immigration purposes unless specifically required by the receiving authority.
