Peruvian Document Translation
Peruvian Document Translation for Australia
Peruvian nationals applying for Australian visas, citizenship, or official submissions must provide certified English translations of their Spanish-language documents. Trans Lingo provides NAATI-certified translations of Peruvian documents accepted by the Department of Home Affairs and all Australian authorities. Peruvian civil documents are issued by the Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil (RENIEC).

How to prepare your Peruvian documents for translation
Peruvian civil documents are issued by RENIEC and by local municipal Registro Civil offices. Older birth and marriage certificates may be held at the municipality where the event was registered rather than at a RENIEC office. RENIEC also provides certified digital copies of civil documents through its online services. Before uploading, ensure your scan shows the complete document including all text, official stamps, signatures, and the document reference number. The Certificado de Antecedentes Policiales must be obtained from the Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP) — ensure it is current, as the Department of Home Affairs generally requires police certificates issued within 12 months of the visa application date. Documents do not need to be apostilled before translation for Australian immigration purposes unless specifically required by the receiving authority.
