Most NAATI-certified translations are completed and delivered within 24 hours of payment. This applies to standard documents including birth certificates, marriage certificates, police clearance certificates, driver licences, diplomas and academic transcripts. The 24-hour turnaround is Trans Lingo's standard delivery — there is no additional charge for next-day delivery.
What affects how long a translation takes?
Several factors can influence turnaround time:
- Document length — longer documents such as multi-page academic transcripts take more time to translate than a single-page birth certificate. A 5-page academic transcript will take longer than a 1-page marriage certificate.
- Document condition — unclear, damaged, or partially illegible documents take longer to translate because the translator must interpret content carefully before producing an accurate certified translation.
- Document complexity — highly technical documents such as court orders, medical records, or legal contracts require specialist terminology and may take longer than standard civil documents.
- Number of documents — if you are uploading multiple documents in one order, delivery time may be slightly longer depending on the combined length of all documents.

When do I need to allow more time?
For visa applications with upcoming lodgement deadlines, allow extra time as a buffer — particularly if your documents are multi-page, in poor condition, or if you are ordering translations of several documents at once. Does turnaround time affect the price?
No. Trans Lingo's standard price of $59 per page includes 24-hour delivery. There is no surcharge for next-day delivery.
How is the translation delivered?
Your completed NAATI-certified translation is delivered as a secure PDF to your email address. The PDF includes the complete English translation, the NAATI translator's name, credential number, signature, and certification statement. It is ready to upload directly to ImmiAccount or submit to any Australian authority. Translations for partner visa, skilled visa, and student visa applications are all delivered in the same format.
How do I track my translation?
After uploading your documents and completing payment, you will receive email confirmation. Your translation will be delivered to the same email address within the confirmed timeframe. If you have not received your translation within the expected time, contact Trans Lingo directly via email or WhatsApp.
