    How we translate Argentine records

Argentines use "partida de nacimiento" and "acta de nacimiento" for the same birth record, and both terms appear on documents depending on the province. There is no single national birth registry: the record is issued by the Registro Civil y Capacidad de las Personas of the province or of the City of Buenos Aires where the birth was registered, so formats, seals and wording vary. A copy normally shows the acta, tomo and folio references, the registry office and district, the date and place of birth, the full name, the parents' details, the registrar's certification wording and, on digital copies, a signature panel with a QR or verification code. Provincial formats differ and many partidas are computer-printed transcriptions of older register books. Official information on civil-registry records and on the Registro Nacional de Reincidencia is published by the Argentine government at www.argentina.gob.ar. Our NAATI-certified Spanish translators reproduce the acta, tomo and folio references, the registrar's certification wording, digital signature panels and any apostille from the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores. Upload the complete record as a clear scan or PDF, uncropped and including any verification panel and apostille. We translate the record you supply; we do not issue, obtain, verify, correct or apostille Argentine records, and we do not advise on your application. Which documents and what form of evidence are required is decided by the Australian authority receiving your application, so confirm that with them before ordering; a certified translation does not by itself guarantee acceptance.
