Indian PCC Translation
Indian Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) Translation for Australian Visas
NAATI-certified English translation of an Indian Police Clearance Certificate issued through Passport Seva by a Regional Passport Office, or by a Commissioner of Police or district Superintendent of Police. Check the English content already present and the receiving organisation's current instructions before ordering.
Check the certificate and request before ordering
Issuing authorities and certificate formats differ. Confirm which certificate the receiving organisation requests, whether its existing English content is sufficient, and which non-English seals, endorsements or annexures need translation.
- May be requested for visa, citizenship, registration or employment processes
- Follow the receiving organisation's current instructions on certificate type and recency
- Check whether the certificate is already fully in English before paying for a translation
- Issued by the Regional Passport Office through Passport Seva or by state police
- Renders the file reference, the issuing officer, the seal and any Hindi or regional annotations
- Also requested by AHPRA and by aged-care, disability and childcare employers
NAATI Certification
What is a NAATI Certified Translation?
Issuance and translation are separate things. The Ministry of External Affairs describes the PCC as issued to applicants for residence, employment or long-term visa purposes, and directs applicants to the Passport Seva portal (mea.gov.in). We are not connected with the MEA, cannot apply on your behalf and do not publish its fees or processing times. What we do is translate the certificate you already hold: a PCC that states no adverse record still has to be rendered in full, including the certifying wording and the authority's caveats, and we reproduce those exactly rather than paraphrasing a clearance statement into something a case officer will query.
- Commonly required for Department of Home Affairs applications
- Used for university, government and employment submissions
- Includes the translator's certification statement and details
